Zak & Amy's Wedding

Zak & Amy's families made us feel sooooooooo welcomed. When we meet with couples as early as a year before their wedding day we truly never know what to expect on the wedding day as so many factors are at play: nerves kick in, getting ready gitters, exhaustion from the couple preparing the wedding (as there is so much detail work that cannot be done until the last few weeks), etc. Amy & Zak's families & wedding party were simply great to be around regardless of who was nervous. Maybe it was the Southern hospitality!

Aaron & Heather's Wedding

It's official: we have met the friendliest families of both Aaron & Heather. I received more hugs at their wedding than I have ever of all my weddings combined! I've included a few of my favoriate photographs from their wedding day. Thank you Aaron & Heather for choosing us & congratulations!
The flower girl had enough....it was time to go & sit down! Little love by the flower girl & ring bearer:

Corie's Maternity Session

I went to Corie's house for her maternity session with hubby & their 2yr old cutie Brody. Corie is due in a few weeks & I'm looking forward to photographing little Sawyer. I'm anxious to see how Brody will act with his little sister.

Anthony & Jennifer's Wedding

We were excited to be apart of Anthony & Jennifer's wedding at The Grandview on Lookout Mountain. Of course the view was phenomenal. Anthony & Jennifer had great friends & family that made up their wedding party. Congratulations Anthony & Jennifer!

We're not sure what they are doing:

Off to the races!
Jennifer & 2 of her bridesmaids at the salon: How many guys does it take to fold, or actually follow the directions, the silk pocket square? And the answer is: 11! But they still couldn't get it right so they just stuffed it in the pocket.

Chad & Meghan's Wedding

Chad & Meghan were married on a beautiful night at the Knoxville Zoo. The zoo staff was great to work with & so friendly & helpful....especially during the rainstorm! We've posted a few of our favorites. Check out Ethan's yawn...."nothing like a good yawn!" Limo shot:
Possibly one of my favorite shots of the year so far: Bling:
Great idea: as Chad & Meghan walked up the aisle after the ceremony the guests threw real flower petals at them! What's more captivating? Watching the guys watch the elephants or the elephants themselves?Quick kiss from Ethan:Beautiful bride w/style: Congratulations Chad & Meghan!

Funny Wedding Shots

We already posted a few photographs from David & Latisha's wedding last weekend. However, while editing all the photographs we couldn't help but add these three. Maybe it's just our warped sense of humor, but we love the gentleman's expression being sandwiched by two ladies who were getting into the song YMCA at their table. Then, David really smeared cake in Latisha's face.
Her nose was completely stopped up with cake. Sally, her wedding coordinator had to dig the cake out....quite gross, but funny!

Chris & Jennifer's Engagement Session

Saturday I met Chris & Jennifer at a few locations in Knoxville. Chris & Jennifer are just a great couple. It's obvious they love each other & they are so natural together. We are looking forward to their August wedding. Jennifer will be absolutely gorgeous in her wedding dress. Stay tuned for her bridal photographs.
We ended the shoot with a trip to a fire station, with permission of course from the Captain. Chris will be a future firefighter in Baltimore. How cool is that? Congratulations Jennifer & Chris!
