Whitney & her mom met me for her bridal session on a HOT day in May for her June wedding. Whitney was a trooper in the hot weather....sweat & all! Whitney had soooooo many shots that were my favorites & it is impossible for me to narrow it down to just posting 4. We had to jump through so many hoops to shoot at these locations & there was a mix up with her stylist schedule so this session was a little stressful, but of course Whitney was gorgeous & will look even more beautiful on the big day!
Michael & Dani's Wedding
We had a blast at Michael & Dani's wedding in Nashville. I had the help of three of my photographer friends: Tracie, Lisa, & Zeke. I cannot describe in words their amazing day from the details to taking off in a red, classic convertible. Experiencing weddings like Dani & Michael's reminds us, "We love what we do!" I cannot thank Dani enough for choosing us....what an honor!
Zeke caught this expression of Dani's grandmother right after she sat down from dancing: Dancing to "Hava Nagila" was so much fun:Dani knew how to dance:This was one of the swords used in the saber arch: Michael putting the ring on Dani's finger during the ceremony: Gotta love the saber arch: The gorgeous bride & handsome groom were naturals:Part of the Jewish ceremony where they circle each other three times: We received an email from Dani & Michael a day into their honeymoon that read:

Ben & Mandy's Wedding
Ben & Mandy are such a great couple. It is obvious that they love each other tremendously just by the time I've spent with them during the engagement session & wedding day. Well, I will never, ever forget Ben & Mandy's wedding day....especially because I broke my elbow while photographing Mandy as she was putting on her wedding dress. What a dress it was!!! Actually it was! Congratulations Ben & Mandy! The minister led an awesome ceremony for Ben & Mandy. It was very moving how he told stories about Ben & Mandy as individuals & then as a couple & how God brought them together. A little look of the Tennessee River: Ben will do anything. This is a shot from above as his groomsmen threw him up in the air. Check out the sun setting during their toast: Ben's groomsmen were definitely stylin': Impressed with their elevation? Another view of Ben being tossed in the air: Last touch up before the, "I do:" Reception Venue: Club LeConte

Aaron & Stefanie
It's been a year since Aaron & Stefanie were married. She called asking if we could do another session with the two of them. Aaron even went out & rented another suit. I was impressed that Stefanie could actually fit into her dress a year later.

Zak & Amy's Wedding
Zak & Amy's families made us feel sooooooooo welcomed. When we meet with couples as early as a year before their wedding day we truly never know what to expect on the wedding day as so many factors are at play: nerves kick in, getting ready gitters, exhaustion from the couple preparing the wedding (as there is so much detail work that cannot be done until the last few weeks), etc. Amy & Zak's families & wedding party were simply great to be around regardless of who was nervous. Maybe it was the Southern hospitality!
